Sewing Club Week 3
This week the children got to use a sewing machine. For most of them it was the first time, so I started from the beginning...turning it on and then the various functions. The children were very excited and nervous. As they each had a turn they discovered how to control the speed by pushing on the peddle and also how to reverse and finish. Today the project was a simple denim bag that we made out of old jeans that were donated by our families.

What a wonderful club to have. I ove that it teachers skills that can be used for life and gives children ways and means to discovery their hobbies and creative gifts. Thanks so much for doing this. The results look fabulous. BRAVO S2.
