Meet Me at the Rink!

One of the wonderful things about inservice days is that we are not restricted to a schedule that has our children coming and going to school throughout the day. We are able to plan some experiences away from the centre. Today we took a group that wanted to skate, to Bord-Aire community centre. What a beautiful day to spend the morning at the rink! 

Getting 22 children ready to hit the ice is no easy task, thankfully we had some experienced children in the dressing room that were willing to help out their friends!!

We were all so excited to get on the ice and show our friends our moves!

What a workout! It didn't take long before we were sweating and needing a breather!

Finally, no trip to the rink would be complete without a game of shinny!

Selecting the teams is always an exciting moment! Waiting to see who your team mates will be is nerve-wracking.

We would like to thank our special parents for making it possible for us to use the facility at the rink (you know who you are), it was very much appreciated!!
