Since I started my practicum, I observed the children doing many crafts with paper. This inspired me to do an origami activity with them.
They used a variety of paper to make fans, dogs and airplanes. Some of the children learned how to do the origami activity by themselves. It was funny. I assisted a few of the younger children with the help of a grade 5 child.
Children enhanced their problem-solving skills by figuring out how to follow instructions from the book
Cutting skills and fine motor control are promoted through this activity
