Human Science- Map Activity and Word Game

Monday December 12, we did a human science activity with maps, to find places like cities and countries that the children want to visit, were born in or have already traveled to.

 

We came from many countries around the world and some of us were born in different countries, so we showed each other where we came from on the map.

 

One Child found Mexico because he'll be travelling there with his family soon.

 

 

                                       The children help each other find Winnipeg on the map.

 

                                  They are looking to see where these animals come from.

 

                                   Mr. Reyes is showing children where the Philippines is on the map.

 

 Here we are looking for Mexico.

 

                         

 One child said that she already traveled with her mom to Wisconsin in the United States. She is looking to see how far Wisconsin is from Winnipeg.

 This is a game we did on Tuesday, December 13th.

 

The game is ''How many letters are in the words".

 

The children have to say some words and the other children have to find and write down the word and found how many letters are in each word.
