Group 2 Week 7

Another week in the record books! This summer continues to move along at an accelerated rate. We had our outside week this past week, and were blessed with some great weather. We had many hot days which meant a lot of cooling off in the water! The children also really enjoyed making our solar ovens. A simple activity that can turn a pizza box into an oven (thank you to a family at the centre who owns a Santa Lucia pizza restaurant who donated the boxes). One of my favorite trips from this past week was our trip to Birds Hill Park! We joined up with group five and spent the day in search of crayfish, frogs and any other critters that we could find.
