Broomball in the Field

Broomball is a game we love to play year round, no matter the weather! The game attracts all ages and all skill levels. Broomball, like most teams sports, requires cooperation with all the players on your team in order to be successful. It is also a great way to encourage physical activity!
Broomball rules:
Broomball is popular in Canada and is like ice hockey, only without the skates. Similarly, broomball has comparable tactics to floor hockey, and floorball. A game of broomball consists of two teams, each with six players including the goalie. Broomball can be played in a hockey rink or on a field. The object of the game is to score goals by hitting the ball into your opponents net with a 'broom'. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.

Game time! It's hard work trying to get the ball when it's tied up by many players.

Looking for the open pass!

Going for the shot!

The last line of defence (looks like the goalie gave up his stick to allow more players to participate in the game, way to go!).

Broomball is always a lot of fun and also can be a good work out!
