The overhead projector project

It's that time of year. Too cold for splash pants, too warm for ski pants, but all the snow is melting making everything very wet. It's hard to know how to dress, not only for the children but also for the staff. On Friday, March 11 SA2 decided to stay inside because of the weather and how the Adventure playground was turning into one big puddle. Luckily Mr. Dueck had a great idea to bring out an overhead projector!

The children started out with drawing on transparent plastic sleeves with marker. They either traced a design or made there own creations. Mr. Dueck had already made some earlier in the day for the children to use on the projector and to be an example for the children to use in what ever way they wanted.

 

The second step was to place their creations on the over head projector and make up a story or just see how it looked. Many of the children were very proud of what they had done and could not wait to show it off!
