Good-Bye...

We wish this young man the best for the future as he goes off to middle school. He has been with us since he was just a little peanut and we've had the privilege of watching him grow up into an amazing young man. Compassionate, kind, athletic, purposeful and helpful are only a few of the virtues that we see daily... we will miss you!

Group 5 week 3

This week began with a trip to airport park. We played at the playground at the park for the majority of the morning and then went critter dipping just down the path. We found different critters than we had found the first time in week 1. There were a lot more tadpoles and the minnows were bigger!

On Tuesday, we spent the day in the gym and made forts. A highlight of the summer! We ate lunch in our forts and spent the afternoon playing board games and doing puzzles in our forts.

Wednesday was too hot to go geocaching from park to park so we went to a park nearby and looked for one geocache and spent the rest of the morning in the water.

On Thursday we went to Kildonan Park. We spent the morning adventuring around the park. We found ducks, geese, a witch's hut, the rainbow stage, and a lot of fallen trees from the storm the day before.

On Friday, we had our sponge bullseye event. We played accuracy games involving sponges and then we played with water guns for the morning.
