There is a saying that goes a little something like this...."A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work." Well, I had a great day of work.....Fishing!! We set out with hopes of feeling the nibble of a fish on our lines, and we were not disappointed. We were picked up and shuttled to the Assiniboine River by Burkevale Park. We put on life jackets, listened to a quick lesson from our amazing guide, picked our rods, wormed up and then we were lines in the water. It only took two minutes and we were on the fish! It was a steady morning, with lots of bites, fish and just a few snags. We even got a special gift at the end of our trip!
