Puddles!

When the weather gets warmer the jackets and sweater come off! Our policy at Discovery is after +10 the children are allowed to make the decision to take off their jackets and sweaters if they want. On Monday March 14 it was +11 the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day! Most if not all of the schoolage 2 children decided to run around in their t-shirts or sweaters.
Because of how warm it's been our sand pit was for the most part defrosted and the children were able to dig and build sand castles and even burry their feet in the sand.

Some of the children also had a game of man hunt going on. Man hunt is a tag like game where there is one person it and they try to tag someone. Once they have tagged someone they are also it. They keep going with this process until everyone has been tagged or there is only one person left to tag in the game.

And of course there are all of our puddles to play in if you are dressed properly (rubber boots and splash pants). Some of the children made a obstacle course in one of the bigger puddles in the yard. Some children did slip and fall getting themselves wet but for them that's half the fun!
